A judge is allowing a Kernersville man to join a motion to dismiss criminal charges that was filed by one of his co-defendants in the federal government’s case against those alleged to have taken part in the U.S. Capitol riot on January 6.
Attorneys Louis C. Allen, III and Lisa Costner filed court documents on Wednesday asking that their client, Charles J. Donohoe, 33, of Kernersville, be added to Ethan Nordean’s motion to dismiss. Judge Timothy J. Kelly, who serves in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, granted Donohoe’s request on Thursday, July 29.
