Mobile food pantry

The Salvation Army Kernersville Corps is asking for the community’s help in raising the funds to purchase a new mobile food pantry vehicle to serve the Kernersville area.
According to Kernersville Corps Officer Major Yong Kwan Kim, the food pantry in Kernersville serves more than 700 families nearly 30,000 pounds of food each month from its new location at the former Kernersville library branch building; however, the need is greater than a solitary location can accommodate.
