Kerner Road rezoning

A rezoning case for a proposed subdivision on Kerner Road will be back on the agenda for Monday night’s November 8 meeting of the Kernersville Planning Board. The meeting will be held remotely and livestreamed on the Town of Kernersville YouTube channel, beginning at 7 p.m.
The case, which has generated a large amount of opposition from residents in the area, involves a request to rezone 51.58 acres located on the eastern side of Kerner Road, south of the intersection of Kerner and Dean roads, from RS20 to RSQ-C (Residential, Single Family Quadraplex-Conditional Use District).
