Kernersville – Mrs. Snowreena “Snow” James, 47, of Kernersville, died Saturday, January 9, 2016 at UNC Chapel Hill following and extended illness.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 3:30 p.m., at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church by Rev. Craig Toth and Pastor Benny Roten. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Snow was born April 25, 1968 in Fredericksburg, VA, the daughter of Larry Thomas White and Peggy Ann Elder White.
Snow was all about Glenn High School Football where her son currently plays. The team affectionately knows her as “mama snow”. Until her illness, she never missed a game. Snow also enjoyed watching the Carolina Panthers. Snow considered herself a country girl, enjoying old farm houses, fall leaves and the lifestyle that came with it. Most of all, Snow dedicated her life to her family whom she loved greatly and was very loyal. She was employed by Kernersville Medical Center as a radiology nurse.
In addition to her parents, Snow was preceded in death by her daughter, Kaitlyn Ashley James.
Surviving are her husband, Phillip L. James, Sr.; sons, P.J. and Caleb James; dad, Charles “Wayne” McCauley; sisters, Christy White and Rhonda Neal and husband Robert “Slip”; brother, Andrew Leslie McCauley and wife Holly.
Friends will be received Tuesday, 2:30-3:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the church.
