Town of Kernersville employees who are vaccinated against COVID-19 are now eligible to receive $650 in incentive money, following a growing trend of municipalities paying their employees to get the widely-recognized controversial shot.
The Kernersville Board of Aldermen voted unanimously to approve the vaccine payments as recommended by Town Manager Curtis Swisher during Tuesday night’s regular monthly meeting. The money will come from the Town’s remaining ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) dollars. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, November 13 & 14, 2021 edition.
