Ramona Hewett, 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2017.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 2:00PM Thursday June 29, 2017 at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel with Brother Bobby Roberson and Rev. Robert Motsinger officiating. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory.
A native of Forsyth County, “Monie” was the daughter of the late Ethel Tuttle and George Hamlin. She was a member of Manna Baptist Church. She was married to the late Howard Dalton Hewett.
“Monie” was always treating others above herself or her own welfare. She did things without attention being brought to herself. She truly was loved and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she also was preceded in death by her brother George Hamlin, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter Patsy Ward and Wayne and son Danny Hewett all of Kernersville; grandchildren Karla Palmer and Bruce of Walkertown and Donna Doby and David of Winston-Salem; great-grandchildren Brittany Palmer, Dalton Doby, and Dixon Doby; sister Edith Lindley of Cocoa Beach, Florida; niece Kathleen Bauguess and Cathy Davis; and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00PM until time for the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
