Hazard pay

While the vast majority of us are following stay-at-home orders from our state and local leaders and employers, police officers and firefighters across the state face significant risk of contracting COVID-19 as they respond to calls from the public. A number of municipalities have acknowledged that risk by implementing hazard pay for their first responders.
