Growth trends

The Kernersville Board of Aldermen heard annual reports on growth, traffic, thoroughfares and streets from Community Development Director Jeff Hatling during the Board’s regular meeting held earlier this month. According to Hatling, the Town of Kernersville population is currently approximately 26,000 and is adding around 800 new persons per year, with projections showing those numbers increasing based on new housing growth trends.
