Greensboro- Mr. Edward Albert Fisher Jr, 85, passed away Thursday August 4, 2022, at his resi-dence. He was born May 25, 1937, in Rensselaer County, NY, the son of Edward and Ann Phalen Fisher. He was a Navy Reservist, member and Elder at Kernersville Moravian Church and participated in Candle Tea, the Men’s Group and Love Feasts.
He retired from Norton Company with over 45 years of service and enjoyed gardening, golf and his woodshop. A straight-forward fair person, he will be missed by all that knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife, Louise Madaio Fisher of 65 years, his children, Leisa Kaczmarczyk (Steve) of Peru, NY, Mark Fisher of Charlotte, David Fisher (Donna) of Kernersville, and Sophia Tarte of Largo, Florida.; a sister, Ann Fisher of Troy, NY; two brothers, Terry Fisher of Troy, NY and Timmy Fisher of Castleton, NY; six grandchil-dren, Jessica Henderson, Ashley Lamora, Kayla Edwards, Louise Fisher, Nicholas Fisher, and Dylan Ireland; four great grandchildren, Lillian Henderson, Leighton Lamora, Hazel Edwards and Hadley Lamora and many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Kernersville Moravian Graveyard.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
