Financial contract

The Town of Kernersville is moving forward on a financing contract for renovations and improvements to the Beeson Crossroads Fire Station.
“Anytime we do improvements to property it has to go through the LGC (Local Government Commission) Board of the North Carolina State Treasury,” said Kernersville Town Manager Curtis Swisher. “The first step is submitting an application. We put out a bid last week and we usually give them three to four weeks to get the bids in. Once we get the bid back, we submit the application.”
