Court denies GOP challenge

The U.S. Supreme Court has denied a Republican legislative challenge to North Carolina’s court-drawn congressional map, which means that Kernersville will remain in the 6th Congressional District for the 2022 election while Walkertown and the Belews Creek area will now be located in the 5th District.
