Cooper wants people informed

Governor Roy Cooper was direct and to the point on Thursday when he told North Carolinians to talk to their doctors instead of using social media sites like Facebook to determine the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.
During Thursday’s briefing, Cooper and Dr. Mandy Cohen, secretary of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services, provided the public with an update on the pandemic, addressing vaccines, indoor masking, students returning to school and metrics and trends associated with the virus.
