Kernersville officials were among hundreds of leaders from across the state who traveled to Raleigh on Tuesday to show their support for Gov. Pat McCrory’s proposed Connect N.C. bond package. Mayor Pro Tem Joe Pinnix said he believes it is critical that the state receives the $2.8 billion in bond money in order to improve the state’s infrastructure, its education system and parks.
