Gladys Rosamond Cattanach,85, passed away August 7, 2015 at Beacon Place Hospice Home.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Gladys was a native of Kinston, NC born to the late Ila Morris and Roscoe Daugherty. She was a graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in teaching. She also worked in administration in Boston, MA where she met her husband George Cattanach, who preceded her in death in 2011. She also loved music and taught piano lessons for many years. Her pets held a special place in her heart as well.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers Hilary and Cullen Daugherty and a sister Mary Ellen Daugherty.
Survivors include her son Ian Cattanach and wife Leah; grandson Tyler Cattanach and sister-in-law Alice Daugherty.
