Town Manager Curtis Swisher is recommending nearly $150,000 in special appropriations for local non-profits in the Town’s budget draft for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22, almost $40,000 more than originally requested.
Funding requests from the organizations were made to the aldermen in March and April and totaled $106,250, down slightly from the $116,350 in non-profit grant funding requested and received for FY 20-21.
