Reflecting back on all the stories her father told her growing up about being a sheriff, local author Darlene Pearson decided to write a book about all the dreams he had.
Pearson said the book is aimed towards children, ages 3 – 7.
“The book is about my dad who had always had dreams of being a sheriff in a western town,” she said, adding that her dad, the late Robert Lee Deitrick, was never in law enforcement. “I wrote the book in his memory.” For more, see the Tuesday, November 16, 2021 edition
