Town Manager Curtis Swisher presented the Kernersville Board of Aldermen with a $39.3 million budget draft for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-22 on Tuesday night, proposing a reduction in the tax rate while at the same time adding staff and equipment, raising the minimum wage for full-time employees and reducing the tax rate.
