Colfax – Clifton “Colon” Atkins, 71, went home to be with the Lord May 1, 2015.
A Graveside Service to celebrate his life will be held 3:00pm Monday May 4, 2015 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
A lifelong Colfax resident, Colon was the son of the late Mary Lou Noah and Willie Dale Atkins.
Survivors include his loving wife of almost 50 years, Ronda Newell Atkins; daughter Cheryl Atkins; son Allen Atkins and Heather; grandchildren Angel, Ashley, Ciara, Courtney, and Danny; sisters Juanita McCormick, Avahleen Dowdy, Betty Glass, Hilda Coleman, and Irene Johnson; brothers Hubert Atkins, Charles Atkins, Woody Atkins, and Wayne Atkins; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
