All Mounds Matter raises $50k

This year’s second annual All Mounds Matter 5K fundraiser took place on October 29 with the goal to raise money to help those with cancer, and organizers for the event did just that. This year, they raised $50,000 for Cancer Services and almost doubled what they raised at last year’s event.
“I think that anytime a community comes together to help support not only friends and family, but also many more they will never meet, is a successful event,” said Joshua Pratt, owner of Savage Roasters in Kernersville and the creator of the event.
