Robert Wayne Waters June 19, 1942 – May 14, 2023
Robert Wayne Waters, 80, of Myrtle Beach South Carolina, passed away on May 14, 2023. He was born on June 19, 1942, in Shelby NC. Wayne was a beloved member of the Konnoak Hills Lions club and he loved going to the Last Minute Market with his coffee buddies. He was the owner of Ardmore Barber shop and was a barber for 59 years and took great pride in his work.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Waters, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Wayne loved spending time on the beach and cherished his family. He is survived by his wife Karen Waters of the home, his father Robert Hoot Waters of Shelby NC, his daughter Amy (Mike) Shannon of Clemmons, NC, two grandsons, Ryan (April) George of Rocky Mount NC and Andrew (Abbi) Collins of Yadkinville NC, and one great-granddaughter, Bella George of Rocky Mount NC along with several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins
Visitation will be on June 24 from 3:00pm-4:00 pm and the service will follow at Kernersville Moravian Church, 504 South Main Street, Kernersville, NC 27284
