Tommy “Jake” Dewey Scott, 74, went home to be with the Lord June 5, 2020.
Graveside Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held 11:00AM Friday June 12, 2020 at the Rogers Cemetery in McColl, South Carolina. A “walk through” visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Thursday evening at the Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville, NC.
A native of Marlboro County, South Carolina, Jake was the son of the late Martha Lee Locklear and Goldie Scott. In addition to his parents, Jake was also preceded in death by sisters, Lillian Scott, Mary Lois Scott Johnson, and Mazie Scott Turner; brothers, Rev. Pete Scott, Sonny Scott, Alton Scott, and Lewis Scott.
Survivors include his brother, Danny Ray Scott and Deborah; sister-in-law, Theda Scott; and a host of extended family and friends.
