Road extension requires closure

A section of a Forsyth County road is set to close temporarily this week as part of an ongoing extension project.
Contractors plan to close Macy Grove Road between East Mountain Street and Old Greensboro Road in Kernersville. The closure began at 5 a.m. Friday and will continue until 9 p.m. Saturday. The closure will enable crews to safely remove the existing median barrier wall and install drainage systems along this stretch.
The work is weather dependent and subject to change.
