Proposed tax increase

A two cent tax increase is being proposed by Kernersville Town Manager Curtis Swisher to help eliminate a $500,000 budget shortfall this coming year. He also recommends taking $158,000 from the fund balance. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, May 31 & June 1, 2014 edition.
