Local civic club celebrates a major milestone

The Rotary Club of Kernersville is celebrating an important milestone in its history as it marks its 25 anniversary this month.
Local Rotary Club members celebrated the anniversary at Triad Park on November 14, with gifts presented to several of the remaining six charter members.
November 24, 1987 is the club’s charter date, but plans for the creation of the chapter began months before. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, Nov. 24 & 25 edition.
