The N.C. Department of Public Instruction has released the official school report cards for the 2011-12 school year, giving parents and perspective residents a clear and concise look at each school’s level of performance. The information includes detailed information about every aspect of a school. It shows statistics about how individual grade levels and subgroups performed on statewide testing, the average class size on each campus and the types of technology that are being used in various classrooms. It also features information about teacher quality, school safety and how the school compares to others across the state. For more, see the Thursday, Nov. 15 edition.
