The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) has selected a Virginia-based company to replace a 59-year-old bridge near East Forsyth High School.
According to the NCDOT, DLB Inc. will replace the Hastings Hill Bridge over U.S. 421 for $4.6 million. They will realign also Hastings Hill Road to eliminate the sharp curve near the school. For more, see the Thursday, Nov. 8 edition.
