After being contacted by Marji Guyler-Alaniz, founder and CEO of FarmHer, Kernersville resident and farmer Dottie Pyrtle was featured on RFDTV as a way to promote women in agriculture.
Pyrtle grew up in a family of seven and they always had a garden. With her love for horses, she later looked for a peaceful place to care for horses and have room to grow flowers and vegetables. She moved to Kernersville in 1995. For more, see the Thursday, June 22, 2017 edition.
