Evelyn Frye, a language teacher at East Forsyth High School and member of Main Street United Methodist Church went on a Summit trip with College of Prayer International to Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso, Africa this past fall. Frye explained that she first became interested in the Summit after Main Street UMC Senior Pastor Jeff Patterson first came to the church. “I was interested in developing a prayer ministry and it happened that Jeff had done his dissertation on prayer in the local church,” she said.
