Charges filed in student’s death

A Kernersville man has been charged with a felony in connection with the death of an East Forsyth Middle School student who was struck and killed while crossing the road to board his school bus this past December. Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neill’s office announced Thursday that Billy Roger Bailey, 46, of Old Hollow Road, has been charged with a Class H felony.
