James Thomas “JT” Chandler, 77, went to heaven May 15, 2017.
Funeral Services celebrating his life will be held 11:00AM Saturday May 20, 2017 at Shady Grove Wesleyan Church with Pastor Nate Kingsbury and Rev. Phil Kirkman officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the church.
A native of Forsyth County, J.T. was the son of the late Polina Lucille Bull and Charles Madison Chandler. J.T. served his country with the United States Army and was retired from Piedmont Airlines. He had been working recently at Kernersville Lake assisting with boat rentals and helping people.
He was a longtime member of Shady Grove Church and was an Usher of the church.
In addition to his parents, he also was preceded in death by brothers Virgil, Ray, Lawrence, Darrell, and Leonard.
Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years Sheila Chandler of the home; brother Gary Chandler of Kernersville; sister-in-law Sharyn Chandler; and several nieces and nephews.
