Kernersville- Mrs. Winifred “Joyce” Cantrell Browning, 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 01, 2018 at Beacon Place. She was born on January 26, 1936 in Wayne County, Michigan to Beulah and Winferd Cantrell. Joyce was completely dedicated to her family and children. She was a great wife and mother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Browning. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 wonderful years, Wilt Browning; two daughters, Vicky Long (husband, Michael) and Jennifer Browning Tapp; two sons, Ken Browning (wife, Theresa) and Andy Browning (wife, Crystal); eight grandsons; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Vaughan and Jackie Rogers; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Joyce will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley, SC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Forsyth County Humane Society, at 4881 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
