Representatives with Smart Start of Forsyth County want to collect 10,000 books for children ages birth to 5. Jackie Lofton, Smart Start executive teaching and learning associate, said they have reached out to area Kiwanis Clubs for their support in encouraging citizens to drop off new and gently used books until Tuesday, April 30 at a variety of locations, including the Kernersville Library and the Kernersville YMCA.
