Veterans memorial capital campaign

Plans for the construction of a large-scale veterans memorial honoring all branches of military service at Triad Park continue to move forward, and supporters believe the site will be completed in time for Veterans Day next year. According to William “Bill” Moss, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and founding member of the WAR Memorial Foundation, the foundation has raised more than half of the $5 million needed to construct what will become The Carolina Field of Honor at Triad Park since a massive capital campaign kicked off in March.
