Election results

Forsyth County’s three Republican incumbent commissioner,s Dave Plyler, Gloria Whisenhunt, and Rirchard Linville all won re-election to their District B seats. In the race for the N.C. Senate District 31 seat currently held by Republican Pete Brunstetter, the long-time incumbent had no trouble in the contest between him and Democratic challenger Delmas Parker. In the race for the N.C. House District 74 seat between Republican Debra Conrad and Democrat David Moore, Conrad easily won among the newly redrawn district’s voters.
