Bond referendum

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County (WS/FC) Board of Education will hold eight public hearings to gather feedback about a proposed bond referendum in November. Two of those meetings will be held in Kernersville.
If approved, the bond package would pay for school construction, renovation and repairs. It would be the first large-scale referendum for WS/FC school construction since 2006. For more, see the Thursday, January 28, 2016 edition.
