Macy Grove Road extension

A road project long unfunded by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) should begin to gain steam now that it has been included on the newly approved 2016-2025 State Transportation Improvement Program schedule.
Also known as the Macy Grove Road Extension, the NCDOT’s U-4734 project is a 1.5 mile extension of Macy Grove Road from East Mountain Street to North Main Street. For more, see the Thursday, September 10, 2015 edition.
