Swim-a-thon

More than $1,000 was raised through youth swimmers from the Abington Swim Club in a Swim for Cancer swim-a-thon earlier this month. The team is part of the High Point Swim Association. Along with raising money, the swimmers also swam 25,650 meters, which comes out to be 16 miles, or 1,026 x 25 meter laps. For more, see the Thursday, July 23, 2015 edition.
