Candidate filings

Candidate filings for the November elections continued until the noon deadline on Friday with one incumbent and two political newcomers announcing their intentions to run. Mayor Pro Tem Joe Pinnix filed to run for a second term on the Board of Aldermen, while Chris Thompson and Terri Peluso Mrazek also filed to run for the five seat Board.
