N.C. House budget

After agreeing on a resolution to extend this year’s budget so state government can continue operating, the two chambers of the N.C. General Assembly must now begin hashing out their differences when it comes to opposing budget bills. N.C. Rep. Donny Lambeth, whose 75th District encompasses Kernersville, said two of the main objectives for representatives were to improve teacher pay and address problems in the Medicaid system.
