Motorcycle fatalities

John Lee Ellington was killed and his wife critically injured after the motorcycle they were riding collided with an SUV driven by Patricia Hickman on Graves Street on Sunday, May 3, the Kernersville Police Department (KPD) reported. According to the KPD, officers responded to the intersection of Graves and Spring streets on a reported motorcycle collision with injuries. For more, see the Tuesday, May 5, 2015 edition. On May 12, the KPD reported that Christine Ledford Ellington succumbed to her injuries. Police said speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the collision.
