Robbery

On December 18 at 4:42 p.m. officers with the Kernersville Police Department (KPD) responded to The Duck Palace Sweepstakes, located at 820 South Main St., in reference to a reported armed robbery, according to a KPD press release. Police said that upon arrival a business employee stated that a black male light to medium complexion, average height, wearing a dark gray hoodie with a red bandana covering part of his face entered the business. It was reported that the black male produced a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money. Police said the black male fled the business on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
