A Kernersville woman is serving as the adult honoree for this year’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis on Saturday, Nov. 22. Alicia Rider will be joined by juvenile honoree Jacob Waite, a five-year-old boy diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis in March 2014, in putting faces to a disease that, unknown to most, affects both young and old alike. For more, see the Tuesday, November 18, 2014 edition.
