One local legislator plans to keep fighting for a piece of legislation that would require insurance companies to cover certain forms of therapy treatment for children with autism. N.C. Senator Joyce Krawiec, who represents constituents who live in the state’s 31st senatorial district, said that while her first session in the General Assembly in Raleigh was a “whirlwind,” one issue in particular stood out to her.
