Death investigation

The Kernersville Police Department (KPD) responded to 120 Farmwood Dr. (Farmwood Garden Apartments) on Saturday, September 13 at approximately 7:38 p.m. in reference a death investigation, according to a KPD news release. The KPD reported that Johanna Patricia Barton, age 32, was found deceased in her apartment. On Monday, September 15, KPD Chief Scott Cunningham said investigators believe Barton fell and hit her head and they don’t believe foul play is involved. No additional information has been released at this time.
