An area medical center has teamed up with a statewide foundation to reverse a dangerous trend taking shape. “In 2012, 16 Guilford County infants died in their sleep. The county with the next most infant deaths was Forsyth County with seven,” said Susan H. Pedaline, DNP, MS, RNC, vice president of Nursing & Patient Care Services for Women’s Hospital.
