With no Democrats in the running, whoever wins this year’s Republican primary for Forsyth County sheriff on May 6 won’t have to worry about winning the election in November. That leaves primary candidate Dave Griffith five weeks to convince registered Republicans why he’s the best person to lead the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office over the next four years, rather than incumbent Sheriff William “Bill” T. Schatzman and one other GOP candidate, Clifton J. Kilby, Jr. For more, see the Saturday/Sunday, April 5 & 6, 2014 edition.
