Personnel with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, the Kernersville Police Department, the Winston-Salem Police Department (WSPD), ATF, DEA, SBI and the NC Department of Revenue conducted an investigation into the activities of the “Detroit Boys” drug trafficking organization, according to a WSPD press release. The efforts of all agencies resulted in the seizure of over 2,150 grams of heroin, firearms, vehicles and approximately $55,000.00 in US currency, according to the press release.
