Scott Cunningham was named chief of police for the Kenersville Police Department on Thursday, June 20. Cunningham has served as chief for seven years in other municipalities and has more than 20 years additional as a deputy chief. Cunningham is an active team leader for the Commission on Law Enforcement Accreditation and serves on the Mid-Size City Chiefs Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
