Fire marshal faces felony charge

State investigators issued a warrant for the arrest of Kernersville’s former fire marshal on Monday involving allegations of taking indecent liberties with a child.
According to officials with the N.C. Department of Justice, Timothy Scott Swaim was charged with felony indecent liberties with a child following an investigation by the State Bureau of Investigation. For more, see the Tuesday, April 30, 2013 edition.
