The Kernersville Fire Department responded to a business fire alarm at Highland Industries, located at 215 Drummond Street at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2.
“Upon arrival at 11:18 a.m., units found a working fire involving material that was being run through a coating machine. The fire had produced significant smoke. For more, see the Thursday, Jan. 3 edition.
